Affiliate disclosure

Short version: one link on this site is a paid partner link, it costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we tell you.

What is a paid link here

The registered-agent card on our city pages links to Northwest Registered Agent through the Awin affiliate network. If you sign up with them after following that link, they pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same price you would pay going to them directly.

What it does not change

It does not change the advice. On every page carrying that card we say the free option first — for most single-owner Colorado LLCs, being your own registered agent is free, legal, and the right answer — and we name the three specific situations where paying is worth it. We do not review registered-agent providers and we do not claim this is the cheapest one. Prices quoted on the card were read directly from the provider on the date shown beside them; confirm them yourself before you buy.

The business records themselves

The registration data on this site comes from the Colorado Secretary of State via the Colorado Information Marketplace — public records, published by the state. No partner pays to appear in, be removed from, or be ranked in those listings, and no listing is affected by any commercial relationship.
